Integrate some kind of print to pdf
It would be great if you could integrate some kind of print to pdf software for things like invoices, packing lists, etc. As you know different browsers print differently and some merchants want documents to match the screen down to the pixel level. There is a free component called Pdf Clown, but I've never had time to work with it much and the documentation is scanty.

Sorting Favorites
Is there a way to sort the Favorites listing alphabetically? Right now it is listed in the order items are added to favorites and can be cumbersome to find items in a long list.

Add "Locked Out" checkbox on User Admin page
When a user gets their password wrong enough times they get locked out. Admins have no way to reset that account other than waiting or going into the SQL tables.
It would be nice to have a checkbox under "Disabled" for "Locked Out" so an admin can reset that timeout and let a legit user in right away.

Make One Page Checkout work with Bootstrap
Right now you have to choose between One Page Checkout functioning properly or having a Bootstrap responsive store. We shouldn't have to pick one over the other. They should be able to work together.

Add a secondary mail server for mail sending
At times we have to reboot our email server and during this time AbleCommerce will error and fail to send order notifications to customers, vendors, etc. I'm actually surprised we've come this long without this implemented but we need to be able to configure a primary and secondary mail server. If the mail send fails on the primary then AbleCommerce should retry on the secondary mail server.

Zendesk Helpdesk Integration
It would be great to have an integration between Ablecommerce and Zendesk ( https://www.zendesk.com ) in a similar way to how Magento does it ( https://www.zendesk.com/apps/magento/ ). Being able to see in the Ablecommerce admin the open tickets and ticket history of a customer would be a real timesaver as opposed to having to have both ablecommerce and zendesk screens open and searching for people in both systems. Maybe even down the road open the order notes feature up to being able to create tickets in Zendesk.

Integration: Algolia Hosted Search Engine
This request is for an integration between Ablecommerce and Algolia Hosted Search. I am a user of Stitch Labs, and they recently integrated Algolia into their platform, and wow it is awesome! The speed of results is milliseconds, and the ability to not have to type in an exact query to get relevant results is amazing.
I would like their service to be integrated into Ablecommerce's search system. Right now, the search providers are internal querying the site's database for each query. It would be nice if there was an option to offload this to Algolia.

Allow coupons to be added in admin after order completed
My client is a B2C company who is migrating to AbleC. Often users forget to give the coupon code when they submit their order (or in the old system mixed up the coupon field with the keycode/account field and put it there or in the order comments only, although the former would no longer be involved with the AbleC cart.) or someone places a phone order but calls back with the code released that day through an email blast, before the order gets shipped.

Custom User Fields - Maybe User Group Templates
It would be nice to easily comfigure additional User Fields through UI.
Additional User data like "How did you hear about us?" is vital for online marketing efforts.
Perhaps an implementation like Product Templates that could be assigned to specific User Groups. Along that mindset,
Within "Merchant" and "User" fields, allow for settings like:
? Viewable by User?
? Editable by User?
? Is required?Support for related tasks would also be nice: searches, reports, import/export, etc.
I realize this can be done programmatically using ac_UserSettings table, but a supported UI would be helpful.

Add and order import function
Add a feature that allows customers to import orders from other sources. Give a file layout that if matched it can pull orders in very easily.

Shipping charge calculation based billing weight rather than actual weight
We currently offer flat rate shipping charge vary by weight which basically uses actual weight of each product. However, it doesn't work well for larger items low density items where dimensional weight becomes more important. There should be "vary by billing weight" method which looks at both cube and weight of a product. Dim weight divisor should be a variable allowing dimensional weight to be calculated using custom divisor (many shippers have contracts with custom dim weight divisor). NOTES field for CUSTOMERS rather than only for ORDERS?
It's fine to have ability to store notes for a particular ORDER, how about notes on a per CUSTOMER basis? Like... "has refused 6 out of last 15 orders"... "has bounced 2 checks in last 90 days"... etc. Customer Profile area already exists... can a "Customer Notes" section be added to that?

Allow items to be in multiple warehouses
We have a lot of items that we both dropship and stock. If a customer has a big order of different items, we take it from our inventory instead of having 5 different shipments. Other times we may elect to dropship a whole order if the items are all from one vendor and the order has a "dropship" only item.
If an item had two warehouses - one for my In Stock and one for dropshipping, I could select the warehouse on the View Order screen and my inventory count wouldn't get all screwed up. This would also help out…12 votes -
Be able to assign an affiliate code when placing a phone order
It would be great if, when taking a phone order for a new customer, we could assigning an affiliate code when in-putting the customer information. Or be able to assign an affiliate code to an existing order after the order is placed. Many of our affiliates call in their orders, as opposed to placing them online - and if I forget to create the customer record first, and then go back and place a order for them, I can't go back and change it.

Better integration with Paypal PLEASE!!
As I'm sure you know, when customer pays with Paypal they must actually leave our Able store & login to Paypal to actually complete their payment (WHY can't it be done like a true credit card transaction - be completely effected in the background without customer having to leave our store?!?). When a payment is not completed, we would like an email to be AUTOMATICALLY triggered to notify the customer. We have tried the "Payment capture failed" trigger, but it does NOT trigger an email when an order is "completed" but the Paypal payment is not made. It looks like…

I wonder if it would also be possible have the invoice date field be editable?
Some of the current 'defective' invoices must be resubmitted with up-to-date invoice dates and I cant see how we can currently do that, other than adding a new payment and deleting an old one?1 vote -

Ability to assign specific products to the subscription feature
Like a monthly wine club -- the ability in the recurring order subscription feature to assign specific products to each month's recurring orders - pre-defined when you are building the subscription product, and have them automatically populate the recurring orders, or at any point before the recurring orders are "placed" automatically.
