  3. Multi-channel integration for marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay) and/or API sync

    We need inventory and order sync with marketplaces (in our case, Amazon and eBay) and our accounting program. This could be accomplished with in-built integration (as AbleCommerce has done with ShipStation) or with an API connector to cloud integration middleware.

    This is really two feature requests: 1) Marketplace sync, and 2) API connector for order export. I am combining these requests because they could be accomplished at the same time with middleware multi-channel integration.

  5. Adding New Methods to the UPS Online Tool

    UPS has a shipping method called SurePost. It has two options, SurePost (1lb to 9lbs) and SurePost (under 1lb)

    There is also an international method called UPS Worldwide Saver.

    We are requesting that these methods are added to the UPS Online Tool.

    This update would benefit us and I would think it would benefit AC if these methods were a part of the UPS tool.

  6. Integrate with the new "Pay with Amazon" since "Checkout by Amazon" wont accept new merchants

    Amazon is not accepting new merchants for "Checkout by Amazon" since they launched "Pay with Amazon." Is able going to be able to integrate with the new "Pay with Amazon?"

  7. Add StoreID field to ShipStation setup configuration

    We've setup a second AbleCommerce store and now have two stores pushing to the same ShipStation account. When doing this, we found that there is no way to set which store receives the orders in ShipStation. We had to modify the source code to hard code in a storeId to route them properly.

  8. Change Quantity fields to decimal with at least 2 decimal places

    It would be nice to be able to use decimal values for the quantity. For example, an cable item might be priced per 100 ft, and a customer could order a quantity of 0.78 for 78 feet.

  9. Improve Search Functionality

    Search needs a lot of work to make it more powerful as search is the main way people interact with the web now.

    Currently the search is lacking in terms of what's acceptable today. For example, right now search fails with variations in spacing or plurals. The search needs to be made more "fuzzy". A search for "mainspring" or "main spring" should return results matching either term. Also "sight black" should return same results as "black sight" (maybe with different order or relevance).

    Putting a checkbox next to the search box allowing user to select whether to search titles only…

  10. Allow custom URLs to be generated based on hierarchy and/or other criteria

    Currently, custom urls have to be manually entered. There should be a set of criteria you can set to automatically generate the custom url. New products should default to this url and there should be a tool to apply it in bulk to existing products. It'd be nice if 301 redirects were automatically created as part of this.

  11. Ability to assign a product its own shipping method

    It seems that we always run into a problem where we have a product that really needs to only ship by one particular shipping method. Even though it may qualify for many by weight. Possibly the item only needs to go in an envelope or it cannot go by media mail or it is fragile and lightweight but really only needs to ship in a box by UPS. Setting up exceptions for it in "vary by weight" loses it's effectiveness when you have hundreds of products. We have products setup where the vary by weight is .01 oz to .02…

    This feature has many votes, however, we will not be able to consider it unless we receive some comments or suggestions about why this couldn’t be accomplished using warehouses. When we are asked to change the logic of a major feature, we are very hesitant to do so as it can cause huge problems for the original design and function as it was intended to be used.

  12. Allow a gift cert be allowed for payment after original payemnt

    Many times customer will forget to use their gift cert and ask us to apply it after the order is entered with another form of payment. It is quite time consuming to search for their gift cert and then manually adjust the balance then enter the new payment. Be nice if it would treat just as it does if its entered at first payment by the customer.

  13. Show Stock Status in grid display

    There may already be a way to do this that I haven't found. But it would be so much more user friendly if they could see stock status at the grid display level and have a sort based on stock status. In today's world they all want to know if you have it and when they can get it.

  14. Assign themes to user groups for multi-tenant use case

    It would be nice to share a code base among several customers but change the skin. At login, based on the group they belong to, different branding assets are loaded, like logo and color scheme. This could be achieved by developing individual themes and then permissioning them by group assignment.

  15. Customer shipping options drop down box change to radial buttons show all!

    This is not my idea. This is in a post on the forums. See post http://forums.ablecommerce.com/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=19247. We have lost orders, we waste time with calls from customers having to change their order shipping options. This is the number one customer feedback problem we get from our customers when they are shopping at our site.This has been an issue for some time now and I would think that this could be modified with the new release coming.   17. Product Variant Question for Verification

    When a product variant is chosen, or in our case a license type, allow a verification message to appear to make sure that is what the user really intends to purchase. For example, if I choose “1 User License” a popup should occur that states “The 1 User License is only for one user on one PC, other users will not be able to use the product. Are you sure? Y/N ” or in the case of clothes, if I choose size “Medium” a popup should occur that states “Size medium fits waist sizes 32-34 only. Are you sure? Y/N…

  18. Folder Hierarchy without index numbers at the end of folders or pages

    Request to have folder hierarchy at least 3 deep, without the index numbers at the end of the folders or pages for the following reasons:
    For example, instead of:
    https://www.idautomation.com/IDAutomation-Code-128-Font-Advantage-Package-P43.aspx
    we need:
    https://www.idautomation.com/barcode-fonts/linear/code-128/
    This is According to Google SEO Best Practices AND for ease of use for end users typing in the URL. It also looks more professional. https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/7451184?hl=en

  20. Warehouse choice

    Under the manage options field I would like a choice so that I could choose the warehouse that the option is in. With UPS using dimensional shipping I have to put small items in one warehouse and large oversize items in another warehouse. When a large option is part of a smaller order there is no way to figure the shipping except for the smaller item.
    If there was a choice, it would indicate 2 shipping's of which one could be eliminated when the items are packed for shipping.
