Capturing Tax refund amount in refunds/credits
One of the issues we encounter during monthly tax filing is to accurately determine sales and taxes. We're currently taking reports from authorize.net and paypal to determine actual dollar that came in after sales and credits.
However, refund transaction does not show tax part and we have to manually go through all refunds to see where tax amount is refunded.
It would be really helpful if tax amounts are also captured during refund process.

SECURITY: Send an e-mail when a user account is locked out from too many attempts
In higher security sites you'll get an e-mail when anything on the account is changed for security measures. I'd like to see some of this extended to AC such as when a user account is locked due to too many password attempts someone is trying to hack into an account. It would be nice to have that user notified and the IP address of the offender if available. I saw this today where one of my accounts, non-admin (video demo use account) kept getting set to disabled. If I could get a notice of when my account is tampered with…

For values such as password age "Last password change 1300 days ago" humanize these values such as X years Y days Z seconds ago

Export/Import Order Shipments
It would be great if there could be an additional Export/Import section in the admin to allow the export/import of order shipments.
The Export Screen would allow the following fields:
- Order #
- Shipment #
- Order Date
- Shipping Address Fields
- Shipment Value
- Shipment Carrier
- Shipment Method
- Shipment Message
- Shipment ItemsThe screen would also allow the same filters as the orders export, but with the addition of filters based on shipping carrier/method.
Also, to round out the system, an Import Order Shipment screen with the following fields:

Paypal automatic payment profile for subscription
In case you didn't know, it looks like Paypal has some kind of automatic payment profile for subscription renewals. I upgraded some software and the purchase used that since I checked the option to automatically renew on the vendor site. It might be good to add that to your subscription features if you haven't already

Fix the picture size for Pinterest
When someone "pins" a product on Pinterest it pulls the regular size picture, not the full size image that appears when you click the product picture. Pinterest is all visual and having the smaller pic pinned takes away from its effect. This also affects SEO and site traffic as more pins equals more links back to your site.

Have a theme that is more SEO friendly.
For example, an imap in the header where the cart, login and search buttons are. This would give less links and alt tags to the page and also give more prominence to the body text. The same could be done for the footer or portions there of.

When Editing Address in Orders add Profile Address Section
Customers make lots of mistakes in their addresses on their orders. I find this more true with mobile users because its more harder to type and sometimes auto correct screws up the address. When we notice a mistake in the address we try to fix it. Currently when editing addresses there is a bill to and ship to address and when a mistake happens it has to be fixed on both sections (assuming customer is shipping to billing address). However, it also needs to be fixed in the profile address, or the same mistake will re-occur on customer's next order.…

Additional Desktop Shipping Integrations
We use Stamps.com for our USPS shipping. It would be great if Ablecommerce could integrate with stamps.com to expand on the Data Import/Export section of the site. Being able to have the desktop software communicate with the catalog to enable batch shipping/tracking would be an amazing time saver compared to manually entering everything.

PayPal Credit Card Tokenization
It looks like enhanced credit card storage is on the horizon for Authorize.net users. If possible, can PayPal be included in the works?
I've looked around at different pages and articles about PayPal CC Tokenization. Heres what I've come up with.

Make a message pop up when trying to upload an image when no SKU exists.
when you have image lookup check in the admin and then go to a product and try to upload an image it will not allow you too. That is good but a message should pop up that saying you have image lookup checked and you cannot upload an image with out a sku in the product. I had a client spend 2 days trying to figure out why it worked sometimes and not others. THANKS!

Allow changes to quantity in multiple ship interface
Currently if you add an item to the cart with quantity 50 and choose to ship to multiple locations, it splits it into 50 lines of qty 1 each. My clients would like to be able to change that so for example they ship qty 10 to 10 addresses, not qty 1 to 50 addresses. Can you allow users to change the quantity in that multi-ship address selection page?

add FedEx SmartPost and FedEx International Ground shipping methods.

Allow us the option in SEO settings on what the HTTP response code is
For our use we do NOT want 301 or 302 response codes. This causes a major problem as if you do away with a custom URL the previous URL will be dead. While I know you are doing this for SEO, you are hard coding something against our needs. Please add an option to the SEO settings area just like asp.net's url rewrite offers for how to process the redirection, i.e. a simple response.redirect or any of the available HTTP response options. Easy fix, keeps it flexible for all.

Add the ability to Pre-order items
Some items can be purchased in advance. We would like to see a product attribute to allow pre-order. A second attribute should be available to 1) allow the customer to enter a delivery date, or 2) allow the merchant to enter a delivery

Support social network authentications
ASP.NET 4.5.x now supports other authentication options such as Google, Microsoft, Facebook, and Twitter. As AC uses basic forms auth in the most basic form, it seems that AC could enable these other forms of login to the web site. This may be something to consider for a future release to support other auth schemes to make it even easier for shoppers to sign in.

Focus Username or Password on Login screen
I should not have to click into the login screen to enter my username or password. If I use "remember me" and the username is filled in, focus the password box, otherwise focus the username box.
