Remove drop boxes
1) When using the search, remove the drop down boxes for each sub-type. (Annoyed with this feature for the past 2+ years and should have been changed long ago. Users are unable to 'get used' to this useless feature).
2) When navigating over the page, remove the auto-drop down boxes that always get in the way. Instead, make those buttons show when clicked on (like Windows).1 vote -
Manually process credit refunds after authorizations have expired
I'm using the Authorize.Net gateway, and would like the option to manually enter a card number to process a refund through Able, rather than having to do it outside of Able directly on Authorize.Net's site. This would make it easier for my users so they don't have to hit Authorize.Net's site and then come over to able and record an 'offline' payment, plus all the info (date & time of transactions) would be recorded for reference in Able.

Fix Bug to Include Shipping address on PayPal transactions
We have been continuing to have an issue with PayPal orders not qualifying for for PayPal's "Seller Protection" because checkout through Able Commerce does not record the Shipping Address associated with the payment. The shipping address provided during checkout is for some reason not being passed on and recorded by PayPal during the processing of the order with Able Commerce. This has been a problem because when a customer issues a claim with PayPal they REQUIRE a recorded shipping address in order to refute the claim. Get rid of your GetImage.ashx resizing for product image display
We are starting to have to remove that method and replace with normal image links for sites because when they are resized they cannot be client cached.

Enhance user freindliness at checkout when payemnt fails.
When page is set to create an order even if payment was not good the customer gets a "success" response even though it failed. Payments fail for address mismatches or card info incorrect(date and cvv). I tried to do the not allow an order to be created without good payment but found so many customers were lost where I could at least salvage most with some effort on the create option. I believe we need better handling of these failed attempts. For example the page telling them why the payment declined and allowing them to change the bad information. Now…

Add support for Square payment processor
Square has been around for a while now and they've added an API so they can be integrated into commerce systems. BigCommerce is one of the big ecommerce players that is already providing Square as a processor.
It is natively PCI compliant.
Square is good for many merchants as well as they were the first to provide a card reader that plugs into mobile phones (brilliant). But the nice thing about them that will appeal to many of us is their flat rate structure which is simple to understand and may well be less expensive than other options.

Add ability to link subcategories to more than one category
If someone wants to show a category in several places, he has to copy it and place it in the right category. It would be nice to be able to assign a subcategory to more than one category, like you can products.

Secure all Pages ignore ssl.config
When we switched our store to Secure All Pages it had some issues caused by the ssl.config actually jumping to http: on us. If the whole site is secure then do we need to respect ssl.config settings, and somewhat confusingly at times?

How to produce a list of products without additional pictures...
We have two pictures for every product; one of the container and one of the molecular structure. I am in charge of getting the molecular structure and I'm about 90% (of 530) complete with my list under the "new products" category. Was wondering if there's a quick check to see what other products are missing.
Also, my old pictures uploaded from years ago had been resized and would like to replace them eventually unless there is a way to revert the picture quality.1 vote -
Move Gallery Image Upload Button Top of Page
Having to upload gallery images one at a time is already a pain... having to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page EVERY time I upload another image is even more of a pain... how was this not caught in testing??

Batch/Mass Image Uplaod to Gallery
Having to upload 56 images to a gallery has made me no longer able to ignore how time-consuming and clunky this process is when compared to even the simplest of alternatives... such as Magento, and even WordPress with WooCommerce...

Remove the megaphone Feedback box
For laptops or other computers with smaller/single monitors trying to use all the corners with Windows 10. Would like the feedback icon be removed as it reduces the amount of working space. Or give a function to hide/minimize the icon.

ERROR on OPTION when copied from other product
We have discovered when copying a product that has options assigned to it, that it retains the copied product SKU.
Example:
when someone wanted to order stencil 3720 5 mil but in 10 mil, the SKU changed from 3720 to 3715E instead to 3720E, 3715 was the product we copied from. On the Option we have the "E" being added to the regular SKU. If we build without using copy it works fine.
This has created a lot of wrong orders being shipped.0 votes -
Amazon Feed For Products, Inventory, And Orders
I have been searching up and down for 3rd party software to be able to upload our current products to Amazon for Sale, and to be able to process our Amazon Orders from.
Unfortunately all these systems are super expensive and cost around $400 per month to use and another % of all the transaction fees.
Can you please try to make an Amazon feed so we can easily share our products on Amazon for sale and process our orders from Able Commerce directly?
I see a bunch of other shopping carts that have integrated with these 3rd party software…

Make background memorize
the topics that you typically choose. I want to hit enter and for the website to understand that I'm trying to edit a particular product instead of selecting "Search Products" every time. This would make editing the background more efficient as it would reduce the number of clicks (and misclicks) to achieve the same function.

Change the search function to be activated by using space.
Currently, when you search for a keyword (example Penicillin), I would like the search results to show all regarding Penicillins after hitting enter. Right now when enter is hit, a dropdown of "Search all, Orders, Products, etc." Navigation of the website background is annoying with this feature. Back in the day, hitting enter would ignore search results so I'm frustrated with how improvements to this website doesn't really improve the features.

Should have notes section in products like on orders so Vendor can write internal notes that can't be seen by public
