Fix the admin edit order function for kits
The process of editing a KIT in in the administrative side doesn't function correctly. When you add a kit in the public side, the parentID remains in intact and that relationship between the parent and kit items is clear. On the ADMIN side, you can 'add a kit', but the parentID doesn't relate to the child "kit" items appropriately. This is a problem and, I think, a bug.

Advanced shipping settings
Create more advanced shipping features. An example of this would be a plugin created for BV Commerce by Structured Solutions (called Shipping Rate Rule Providers). This is now going to be native for the new BV Commerce. It creates rules for nearly any shipping situation. Currently I have to make multiple warehouses (with the same address) and add specific carriers to each warehouse then assign products to the appropriate warehouse. Some of my items can't ship USPS and some items can only ship ground. It would be nice to use a product template and create shipping rules based off of…

Update Data Export/Import
We need (desperately) to be able to import/export Order/Shipments from the cart into our shipping partner's software --- such as WorldShip from UPS.
Katie mentioned this functionality would be ready in late May......

Create a true one page Checkout
Please bring back the one page checkout like in 7.0.7.

Add entire categories when creating coupons.
When you create a coupon, why do you have to assign it to products one by one. Why not allow entire categories to be added. We run coupons based on lines and some of them have over a thousand SKUs. Quite the pain to add them one at a time!
7 votesCoupons must be associated to products so we can manage the various aspects of tracking the usage. For example, there are features which prevent combining coupons or using them more than once. Because there are coupons for shipping, products, and orders, we have to track them on an individual basis. Now, in our last release of R7, we have added the ability to easily update coupons en masse. From the search page, you can select a category and easily (with 2 clicks) update all products in that category with a coupon.

Upgrade from versions of Able older than 7.0.6
It sure would be nice to have a way to easily upgrade a site from pre 7.0.6 builds. We have customers wanting to upgrade to Gold and there is no easy way.

Add required-field support to Product Templates
Product templates are incredibly useful for a variety of situations. However the inability to make them mandatory limits the usefulness of the feature.
I would like to see a 'Required' checkbox for shopper-side product template fields so that the shopper must choose or enter a value of some kind before the add-to-cart operation will proceed.2 votesThis feature is available in Gold R7 and later

Edit Product Page needs a Delete button
In 7.x you could delete a product from the edit-product page. I don't see a way to do that in Gold R4.
It's helpful to have because there are other ways to reach the edit-product page besides the catalog/manage products pages. Like links from the view order line items, or the manufacturer list of products.

UPC/GTIN Field for Variants
acproducts.gtin field is not enough to control UPC of items with variations. Many apparel companies have unique UPC for different sizes and color. Without UPC field in acproductvariants.GTIN or ac_optionchoices.GTINModifier field, UPC coverage in ablecommerce is incomplete. Please add this feature. It is a easy one.

Add meta title field to product
I can't believe there is no separate meta title field for the product entry. This is an SEO standard. I have to create a template field and tell my customers they need to edit the meta title in a completely separate screen. Every one of them looks at me like 'That's stupid'.

Add Variant Import/Export & Store XML Import (Products specifically)
I've mentioned this before directly but thought I'd submit it this way too. Variant Import and Export (csv) and Product Import through XML were things that I used heavily in version 7.7 with the Dataport and without serious reworking of our processes, these need to be here for us to upgrade. Having this added or some type of functionality to do the same things would be very good for us. Thanks!

Add Template to Products In Bulk
The template function seems good, but it is tedious to add a particular template to hundred or thousands of products by clicking the add button one-at-a-time in the current template UI. It would be good to add the ability to assign templates by default and also be able to add them in bulk in the Batch Edit screen.

{R} on Checkout Pages Should be {*}
I shop a lot online, and I see the {*} indicating required fields all the time. I've never seen "{R}". I think it's better to give the customers what they're used to seeing.

Multiple shipping address option - allow it to be turned off
I would like the ability to turn off the multiple shipping address option so that customers can only ship their order to one address.
Rather than being able to split it up into multiple shipments.
We use the invoice to pull the items on an order and the invoice doesn't split up the items into separate boxes.3 votesThis setting is now avaiilable from the Configure Store page..

It would be good to have ability to search the phone field in user search
A big client of ours has CS reps that need to find a customer quickly so in Able 7, they had us implement a search by phone #. Customer can give the CSR the last 4 digits of the phone, for example, and the customer is very easy to find that way instead of trying to spell names, email addresses, etc over the phone.

WA state tax report change
It needs to show the total order amount per loc code and not total tax collected as these are the numbers WA state asks for. It needs to be order totals before shipping and tax but after coupons, etc.. I ended up running this SQL statement to get the info for last year.. select LineMessage,sum (ProductSubtotal) from acOrderItems, acOrders where acOrderItems.LineMessage is not null and acOrderItems.OrderID = ac_Orders.OrderID and OrderDate between '2012-01-01' and '2012-12-31' group by LineMessage

Product Images/Symbolic Links
In previous versions of AC, I was able to host product images on a different server and provide the url for those images. This does not work in Gold. I have found a thread in the forums regarding setting up Symbolic Links for product images, and I believe I have successfully done that as the AC ProductImages folders show the virtual folders that show the files in my remote image folder as expected. However, when I change acProducts and acProductImages to link to "~/Assets/ProductImages/Thumbnails/ItemPic1.jpg" the URL returned in ProductImage.ascx.cs is broken. USPS Rates- Post Office price vs Online Price
I'm not sure what Able does/what all is involved/ what USPS requires so I am just posting this for a merchant. He is saying that Able returns Post Office price instead of Online price for shipping. If you go to the price calculator on the USPS website, they show both prices.
