Add entire categories when creating coupons.
When you create a coupon, why do you have to assign it to products one by one. Why not allow entire categories to be added. We run coupons based on lines and some of them have over a thousand SKUs. Quite the pain to add them one at a time!
Coupons must be associated to products so we can manage the various aspects of tracking the usage. For example, there are features which prevent combining coupons or using them more than once. Because there are coupons for shipping, products, and orders, we have to track them on an individual basis. Now, in our last release of R7, we have added the ability to easily update coupons en masse. From the search page, you can select a category and easily (with 2 clicks) update all products in that category with a coupon.

Also you seem to have fixed this on Discounts as you have the category tree and say that you can add entire categories to the discount but there is no FINISH or SAVE button to commit it. It saves as you add individual products but not categories. Fix this and then apply it to Coupons.
