An ideal integration between Ablecommerce and StitchLabs would be:
Bi-Directional Order Management
Orders placed in Ablecommerce sync with StitchLabs
Orders updated in StitchLabs update in Ablecommerce
As the order goes through the processes in StitchLabs, billed, payed, packed, shipped, allow the ability to trigger order status updates in Ablecommerce
When the order is placed in Ablecommerce, not only create the order in StitchLabs, but also invoice it and bill it.
Bi-Directional Contact Management
Customers created in Ablecommerce (not anonymous user records created) also get created in StitchLabs
Customers created in StitchLabs ( ie: customers that exist in other sales channels) get created in Ablecommerce
Customers updated in one get updated in the other
Bi-Directional Inventory Management ( MOST IMPORTANT! )
Products created/updated in one system get created/updated in the other
Product and product/varient Export feature for initial load from Ablecommerce into StitchLabs
Inventory status/quantity synced between both systems ( whether it be an instant sync each time there is a change, or, a cronjob type of thing where the inventory in both systems gets updated on a scheduled job, ie: every day or every 4 hours. So that the servers aren’t overloaded by requests being sent every time an order comes in via another sales channel )
I absolutely agree with you. Please feel free to offer some suggestions on systems that are more affordable.
Multichannel integration including order and inventory sync are critically important. Stitchlabs can handle that, but as of today their cheapest subscription option is $499/month. That's beyond our means. Suggest AbleCommerce consider integration with other apps integrators that are more reasonably priced. At minimum, there should be a way to sync inventory with Amazon and eBay.
