Search needs a lot of work to make it more powerful as search is the main way people interact with the web now.

Currently the search is lacking in terms of what's acceptable today. For example, right now search fails with variations in spacing or plurals. The search needs to be made more "fuzzy". A search for "mainspring" or "main spring" should return results matching either term. Also "sight black" should return same results as "black sight" (maybe with different order or relevance).

Putting a checkbox next to the search box allowing user to select whether to search titles only or full descriptions would be very helpful as well.

Also the ability to search webpages and links are also needed. Of course this needs to come with a setting so users can choose whether to display only products.
