Multi-channel integration for marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay) and/or API sync
We need inventory and order sync with marketplaces (in our case, Amazon and eBay) and our accounting program. This could be accomplished with in-built integration (as AbleCommerce has done with ShipStation) or with an API connector to cloud integration middleware.
This is really two feature requests: 1) Marketplace sync, and 2) API connector for order export. I am combining these requests because they could be accomplished at the same time with middleware multi-channel integration.
As of today there are 50 votes on this forum for for features related to cloud sync (if you add up all the votes for integration with Amazon, Stichlabs, MailChimp, Mandrill, inventory management). Ablecommerce integration with 1 or 2 cloud sync programs could satisfy all these requests. Ablecommerce builds one connector, and all the related programs and apps using that connector become available.
Some of the integration apps are expensive, but there are affordable ones (e.g., eComDash, DSYNC and others). In-built integrations are ideal, but cloud integrators save on development costs and provide more choice and flexibility. Competitive shopping carts already sync with dozens of middleware integrators, giving their users access to choice in accounting programs, email programs, shipping consolidators, inventory sync, listings, order management, and more.
I would be happy with just Amazon & eBay sync (in whatever way Ablecommerce chooses to provide that) and an API connector so I can pull orders into my accounting program and sync inventory.
