Add a copy button to Manage Layouts
Often times a new layout is very close in design to an exsting layout. But there is no way to copy an existing layout. So a new layout must be rebuilt completely from scratch

This request is for Stitch Labs Inventory/Order Management integration. http://www.stitchlabs.com/
An ideal integration between Ablecommerce and StitchLabs would be:
Bi-Directional Order Management
Orders placed in Ablecommerce sync with StitchLabs
Orders updated in StitchLabs update in Ablecommerce
As the order goes through the processes in StitchLabs, billed, payed, packed, shipped, allow the ability to trigger order status updates in Ablecommerce
When the order is placed in Ablecommerce, not only create the order in StitchLabs, but also invoice it and bill it.
Bi-Directional Contact Management
Customers created in Ablecommerce (not anonymous user records created) also get created in StitchLabs

Integration: Mailchimp and Mandrill for Email
This request is for Mailchimp and Mandrill Email integration.
An ideal integration opportunity would create new APIs in ablecommerce to allow more external control in the email side of the platform.
For a Mailchimp integration, the requested features would be:

Extend discounting system
Include mix-and-match and aggregate discounts. For example "Buy any 5 from this list of products", or "buy all of these products together". The aggregate discount in particular would be a great alternative to complex (and tedious to create) kits that are composed of many items with many variations.
For example, we like to offer our customers diving packages (we sell scuba gear). An example of one of these packages could contain all of the following:
- BCD (4 variations by size)

Include template fields in product import/export
Currently those custom fields are not recognized during import or identified during export.

Display customer ip address in the error log
It would help us if you displayed the ip address of the customer in the error log. That way if the merchant can see that the source of the error is McAfee running the site, weird spider, etc, the customer could be assured that the error is something they don't need to worry about.

We checkout out several international payment/shipping options and, for us at least, Bongo would be ideal. Bongo is a comprehensive global eCommerce solution provider designed to enable US and EU-based merchants to reach international consumers. Avalara Tax Services -- Company Code Nexus tied to warehouses
Avalara is great -- but one glaring weakness in the configuration is that we're unable to designate more than one company code/tax nexus on the AbleCommerce configuration side.
Can the Company Code instead be tied to the Warehouse name so that taxes can be accurately configured to use origination locations/destinations ? I am more than happy to give much more thorough explanations..... this is very critical to us and our multi-state corporation client.....

Allow pulldown for quantity selection
We want predefined quantity increments (e.g. 25, 50, 75) in a pulldown rather than the single increments in quantity that is the only option currently. Having a "price table" with quantity breakpoints would be a great addition to supplement that new feature.

Show out of stock variants
Please show out of stock variants instead of removing them from the available variants. An out of stock message would be great to show the customer the status. On the variant grid display, there needs to be a stock indicator as well.
9 votesYou can show the out-of-stock variants by adding an availability date. In Gold R12, there is a new feature so customers can signup to be notified when the itme is back in stock.
I’m leaving the status of this request as “under review” because we would like to add a store option to show out-of-stock variants without the dependancy on the availability date.

Remove ability to DELETE payments, or provide an audit trail
I am new to Able... in fact my site is not live yet (hopefully next week!).
While I think overall AC seems to be an EXCELLENT ecommerce package, I am a little disappointed in the accounting aspects.
Primarily, I don't understand why it allows one to completely DELETE a payment. This would seem to open up a hole for potential theft.
My suggestions would be (in this order):
1) remove the ability to delete a payment - a refund is adequate to make a customer whole, or...
2) make the ability to delete a payment a "special privilege" that must…

Restocking of removed items.
We have customers change or cancel items all the time, in fact daily. We have to delete the item from the order and then manually go in and adjust inventory. if this is not done inventory is off. It would be nice if we had a button to remove an item and restock it at the same time.

Automatically detect and adjust for daylight savings time (DST)
Please remove the requirement for admins to change a time zone setting in the admin area. The store should detect when DST changes and automatically adjust as most sites such as PHP forums do. Consider a UI such as a time zone selection then "auto-adjust for DST" checkbox or something along that line.

Capturing Tax refund amount in refunds/credits
One of the issues we encounter during monthly tax filing is to accurately determine sales and taxes. We're currently taking reports from authorize.net and paypal to determine actual dollar that came in after sales and credits.
However, refund transaction does not show tax part and we have to manually go through all refunds to see where tax amount is refunded.
It would be really helpful if tax amounts are also captured during refund process.

SECURITY: Send an e-mail when a user account is locked out from too many attempts
In higher security sites you'll get an e-mail when anything on the account is changed for security measures. I'd like to see some of this extended to AC such as when a user account is locked due to too many password attempts someone is trying to hack into an account. It would be nice to have that user notified and the IP address of the offender if available. I saw this today where one of my accounts, non-admin (video demo use account) kept getting set to disabled. If I could get a notice of when my account is tampered with…

Allow a gift cert be allowed for payment after original payemnt
Many times customer will forget to use their gift cert and ask us to apply it after the order is entered with another form of payment. It is quite time consuming to search for their gift cert and then manually adjust the balance then enter the new payment. Be nice if it would treat just as it does if its entered at first payment by the customer.
